“The Village” is a complete Wrap Around Service program aimed at living
out and realizing our core values which is to Educate, Empower and
Elevate! Our target populations are Educators, Students, Parents
/ Guardians and Community Entities and Stakeholders.
Our approach is to accomplish this reality through a myriad of strategies
and modalities. These modalities include things such as Professional Mentorship, Afterschool Enrichment Programs, Summer Camps,
Motivational Speaking, Workshops, Professional Development Courses
for Educators and Educational Leaders, Community Partnerships etc.
Students are at the core of what we seek to Educate, Empower and
Elevate, and we do so by Educating, Empowering and Elevating Educators, Parents and Guardians, Community Entities and Stakeholders alike.
The Dreamers Academy is a year-round, after school program aimed specifically at increasing educational achievement, through a social emotional learning format. This program fosters academic concentration and high expectations of all grade level subjects being taken by each individual student. Students also are challenged to develop social skills as well as engage in different forms of leadership and critical thinking skill development. Students also enjoy fun recreational activities and play and are provided snacks and incentives for achievement on a weekly basis.
“Fire” Summer Camp Intensive is designed to accomplish several tasks for potentially At-Risk students and non at risk students. The primary focuses is to reinforce the importance of academic success and achievement, while cultivating an interest in Higher Education and or a Career. We provide a broad array of services and classes aimed at fostering a motivated, informed career driven individual who desires success! We do this using several modalities to include industry exposure, mentorship through internships, industry specific motivational speakers and educational field trips. We teach skills such a public speaking, leadership development, conflict resolution, financial planning and management , just to name a few. This program places a teen on an informed road to a bright future and career goal attainment.
The Second Chance Pretrial Intervention Program is a community based, education centered, evidenced based, Pre Trial-Intervention program aimed at giving youth and young adults an alternative to incarceration and a criminal record after having encountered the juvenile justice system. This program employs a myriad of strategies, classes, trainings, interventions aimed at increasing parental involvement and oversight of their child or children. The program also aims to positively influence the child to make better choices in and outside of the school or educational setting, while fostering changed behavior that will ultimately lead to educational achievement as well as producing a productive member of society in their respective community.
“Boys to Men” is a rites of passage centered program aimed specifically at helping single mothers undergird their efforts to raise and rear strong sons who have difficult circumstances surrounding their fathers. Specially this program is aimed at providing experiences and mentorship aimed at supplementing young urban males who may not be being positively influenced and providing a tangible, male role model and mentor. This program aims to have a positive impact on growth, development, educational achievement, social skills , conflict resolution etc.
“The Bridge High School” is a Program designed for High School students, designed to expose them to career paths and start them on an social and academic path towards a Career and Employment. The key components to this program is Job Shadowing, Internships, Industry Specific Mentorships, Industry Immersion via Industry Speakers and Industry Field Trips, as well as College & University Tours. This program is also designed to help students start to develop and thrive in social skills, conflict resolution, working well with others, understanding and working with diverse groups of people, public speaking, leadership development skills etc. Our focus is to “Bridge” the gap between what students are learning and or not experiencing in the high school environment and preparing them for what they will need to be successful in higher education and or the work force.

The program is also designed to prepare them for the High School educational setting. The key components to this program is Job Shadowing, Internships, Industry Specific Mentorships, Industry Immersion via Industry Speakers and Industry Field Trips, as well as High School and College Tours.
